We do not sell your data. We do not advertise. Here is exactly what that means.
We do not sell your data. We do not buy data about you. We do not run targeted/surveillance advertising.
We built our own analytics stack so we do not have to ship your behavior to Google, Meta, or data brokers.
Our business model is ticketing: 5% on paid tickets, waived for verified nonprofits. We may explore other monetization options in the future, but only after verifying that they keep our incentives aligned with the communities we serve.
Stripe handles payments. They process card and transaction data for ticket purchases.
Sendgrid/Postmark handles emails. They process password reset requests and other email contact.
Twilio/Vonage handles SMS. They process text message confirmations and notifications.
Google and Apple are available as optional sign-in methods. If you choose to sign in through one of them, that provider shares your name and email with us to create or match your account. If you register with email and password, neither Google nor Apple receives any data.
That is the list. No ad networks. No data brokers. No third-party analytics tools. No social-media API trackers.
Read their policies here: Stripe Privacy Policy, Google Privacy Policy, Apple Privacy Policy.
If a tool requires us to sell your attention, we do not use it.
Profiles are private by default. Full profile details are for connected members. The total attendee count for an event is public. Whether your name appears in the attendee list depends on your profile visibility setting, not on whether someone else is also attending.
Group conversations are semi-public inside the group. That is intentional. It increases accountability and reduces hidden DM harassment.
You can access, correct, or export your data from account settings.
You can delete your account at any time. We remove personal data within 30 days, except where law or financial compliance requires retention of transaction records.
You can opt out of non-essential notifications whenever you want.
Questions or data-rights requests: privacy@circlefinder.com.
If we make material changes, we will tell you clearly in-product. Policy claims should be clear and straightforward.
